Advocacy

Disability advocacy from organizations help to support and give individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) the ability to become involved in local events, legislative policies, and any other issues that can have minor or major affects on an individuals daily life.  By advocating, individuals with I/DD are able to maintain healthy lifestyles, express their concerns and grow their social capital. The listed resources below provide information on local advocacy services.
